My first home development

I finally stopped sending rolls to the lab. The kit is small: a changing bag, a steel tank with two reels, a thermometer, a timer and three bottles.

Loading the reel blind took four attempts and some quiet swearing. Practise with a dead roll in daylight first — it really helps.

The first roll came out a little uneven at the edges because I agitated too gently. The second one was fine. Hanging the strips to dry in the bathroom and seeing actual frames was worth all of it.
